Robert H. “Bob” Collins, Jr. 72, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Eleanor A. (Hudak) Collins, they celebrated their 48th anniversary in July. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Robert H. Sr. and Emma (Bartholomew) Collins. Bob was a supervisor for the City of Bethlehem at the Rose Garden for 43 years until retiring in 2000. He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church in Bethlehem. Bob enjoyed gardening and sports, especially the Phillies. Survivors: his beloved wife, Eleanor and many nieces and nephews on his wifes side of the family. Bobs step-brother Robert Kaplan died earlier.
