Robert Gregory Fegreus, 67, of Grantville, GA, formerly of Lincoln Park, MI & Punta Gorda, FL died Saturday, December 20, 2008. He was born January 11, 1941 in Worchester, MA to the late Francis Joseph Fegreus & Shirley Gregory Fegreus. Mr. Fegreus was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a medic with the Marines and was wounded in combat and received the Purple Heart.
After retiring from the Navy he became an avid golfer and worked as a starter at Canongate’s Summergrove Golf Club. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Charleen Downey Fegreus of Grantville; children, Carl Fegreus of Trenton, MI, Kimmie Fegreus of Grantville, Charlie (Kim) Fegreus of Brownstown, MI; grandsons, Cameron, Nicholas, and Tyler.
