ROBERT GOMEZ JR. , 40, resident of Silver City and former resident of Lordsburg passed away Wednesday October 12, 2011.
Robert was born October 15, 1970 in Lordsburg to Robert and Geraldine Gomez. He was a 1989 graduate of Lordsburg High School and most recently had worked in the mining industry. He was a lifelong communicant of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Gomez of Silver City; his children; Nathan Gomez, Bobby Gomez and his wife Cynthia, Adam Gomez and Brittany Gomez all of Silver City; his parents, Robert and Geraldine Gomez of Lordsburg; sisters, Mary Ann Marrufo and her husband Gary of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Villines and her husband Larry of Silver city, Patricia Marin and her husband Carlos of Phoenix, AZ; his brother, Christopher Gomez of Lordsburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
