Robert George Jello, “Bob”, 80, of North Franklin, passed away at home on June 26, 2017 with his family by his side.

Born in Lebanon on December 5, 1936, he was a son of the late George and Josephine (Pudlo) Jello.  Bob served with the U.S. Army during peace time.  He married his beloved wife Grace Seatter on August 19, 1961 in Norwich.  The couple moved to North Franklin where they made their home and raised their family.  After serving in the military, he worked in several fields, finishing his career with the State of Connecticut as an Electrical Technician.

Bob was a handyman, capable of fixing anything.  He and his cousins built many golf courses in the area and along the eastern seaboard.  He took great pride in his home and yard.  Bob also loved hunting, fishing and any other outdoor activity, especially yearly trips to the Eight Point Lodge in Vermont.  Most importantly, he will be remembered for his great sense of humor, stubbornness, tough as nails manner, and for his great love and devotion to family and friends alike.

He will be sadly missed but always remembered by his loving wife of 55 years, Grace; two daughters, Rae and husband, Daniel Quinlan and Tracey and husband, Nathan Boyden, all of North Franklin; a sister, Pat Sipolski of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Emmett and Erin Schaeffer and numerous extended family and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Anastacia Plante.
