Mr. Robert G. Marshall
, 64 passed away on Monday December 27, 2010 in the Hackensack University Medical Center.
Robert was born in Jersey City. He has lived in North Arlington for the last 32 years.
Mr. Marshall was a Police Officer in the Borough of North Arlington for 14 years. He retired from the force in 1984. After, he was employed by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority as a toll collector and maintenance worker. He retired in 2005.
He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the New Jersey Honor Legion, North Arlington P.B.A. Local No. 95, the Knights of Columbus Queen of Peace Council # 3428 and the Hackensack Valley Flyers Radio Controlled Flying Club. He also served as volunteer firemen in North Arlington.
He his survived by his wife Mary (Tweedale.) He was the father of Erin, Coleen, Kevin, Brian, and Robert and his wife Cheryl. He was the brother of John and his wife Bernice. He was the grandfather of Nathan and Rebecca Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Curcio.
