It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Robert J. Frerich, 91, of Deming, New Mexico, on Thursday, June 28, 2012 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Born April 14, 1921 in DeQueen, Arkansas to John and Louisa Frerich, he moved to Deming in 1927. Robert served in the Army Air Force during WWII, where he earned several medals including the Purple Heart. He returned to Deming after the war to farm with his father, before settling on a career as a lineman for Public Service Company of New Mexico, retiring in the mid-eighties.
He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Aline, of the home; daughters Sandi Hudson (Greg) and Pam Kissman, both of Deming; granddaughters Tamara Pruessner (Jonathon), their children: Cassandra, Lucas and LilyAna; and Chelsea McGinnis (Erik), their children: Joseph, Madison, Ashlynn and Jasper; sisters, Helen Milligan of Reserve, New Mexico and Elena Samsky of Grass Valley, California as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
