Robert L. “Bob” Freeman, 75, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019, at his home.

He was born September 10, 1943, in Chicago, the son of Arthur Freeman and Theresa J. (Maranghoni) Freeman. He married Diana Baldridge on November 20, 1976, at Fouts Christian Church in Centralia and she survives in Centralia.

In addition to his wife of 42 years, Diana Freeman of Centralia, he is also survived by four children: Carla Freeman of Centralia, Kelly Freeman Grey of Florida, Jackie Freeman Husted of South Carolina, and Steve Freeman of Seattle, Washington; several grandchildren; a sister: Veva Jackson and husband Calvin of Fairbury, Illinois; a sister-in-law: Donna Freeman; several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Arthur “Corky” Freeman, and two sisters: Elaine Rolando and husband Junior and Janet Shadow. Bob worked at Graphic Packaging for many years and later retired. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking his favorite pasta, pizza, chili, and meatloaf. He watched NASCAR races and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Bob loved spending time with his family, friends, and his four-legged companion, Snoozer.
