Robert Franklin Weese, beloved husband of Dolly Darlene Lyall Weese, passed peacefully on May 6, 2013 at the United Hospital Center in his 78th year. He was born August 1, 1934 in Philippi, WV; son of the late Robert Nimord and Ora Marie Sachs Weese. In addition to his wife of 31 years he is survived by four children, Rebecca Wilson of Unionville, TN; Joyce Allen and husband Mike of Eustis, FL; Robert M. Weese and wife Evelyn of Brewster, OH; Charles E. Boone and wife Nicole of Huntington, WV; 10 grandchildren, Ron Wilson; Zach Wilson; John Karlan Jr.; Nicolas Pates; Bobby Skinkle; Zachary James; Riley Boone; Chase Boone; John-Paul Huff; Aaron J. Mikusa and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Weese, Russell Weese; two sisters, Rosalie Kindren; Rita Bell; grandson, Dennis Gantt and son-in-law, Mark Wilson. Robert spent 40 years of his life as an Optician. In his spare time he enjoyed playing the drums and singing in the Hickory Wind Band. His hobbies were antique cars, country music, and all other antiques. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM.
