Robert William Francom, age 59, passed away at Benefis Hospital on Tuesday, September 16th. Bob was born in Great Falls, Montana on October 10, 1954.

Bob graduated from Belt Valley High School in 1972 and went on to attend broadcasting school in Denver. His first radio broadcasting job was in Douglas, WY. He moved on to Torrington, WY where he met and married Debbie Yates. They were blessed with a son, Jeremy. Although Bob and Debbie later divorced, they remained close friends. In 1980 Bob was awarded the honor of Sports Broadcaster of the Year in Wyoming. After leaving the broadcasting business, Bob worked for several motel chains as a night auditor, most recently at the Heritage Inn in Great Falls until his health forced his retirement.

Bob was a true sports fanatic. He loved his Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees, Boston Celtics, Gonzaga Bulldogs and University of Montana Grizzlies.

Bob is survived by his son, Jeremy (Alexiss); grandchildren, Claire and Jett, all of Lander, WY; parents, Kermit and Phyllis Francom of Belt; brothers, Wayne (Sandy) of Belt, Dave (Debbie) of Casper, WY, Neil (Lauren) of Spokane, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
