Robert Francis White Bear, 62, died March 28 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born April 30, 1959 on the Pacific Ocean in route to CA to Katherine A. (Casanove) and Richard Vernon Fisher.
Whitebear was an avid triker and he rode in all weather. He was very proud of his Shawnee/Italian half-breed heritage. Whitebear loved his mountains and was a resident of Woodland Park. He was a man of many talents and volunteered anywhere he could; he was a leader in all of his endeavors. He was a biker, Boy Scout leader, NRA Instructor, soccer coach, actor and he enjoyed doing reenactments with the Rocky Mountain Gunslingers. He was an avid bush-craftsman, always planning a fishing or camping trip. More than anything, Whitebear adored his family and his “girls” (sister dogs-Gidget & Riley).
He is survived by his children, Tyler White Bear, Casey White Bear, and Christopher (and wife-Danyelle) Fisher and grandchildren, Dakota Scott, Evelyn Flournoy, Jordan Fisher, Dylan Fisher and Natalie Fisher.
