Robert “Bob” Faucett, “Rainbow Bob”, 82, Anderson, went to Heaven on July 4, 2012 from St. Johns Health System, Anderson.
He was born June 5, 1930 in Elwood, Indiana, and resided in Anderson. Bob was the owner of Rainbow Advertising for 55 years. He also retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 15 years of service. Bob was a great husband, father, grandfather, and was loved by all who knew him. He was a member of the Central Indiana Old Car Club. Bob enjoyed bowling, loved animals with a passion and collected model classic cars.
Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marcella Brown Faucett; children, Bob Faucett, Debbie Faucett, Cindy Herche Mike and Angie Faucett; step-children, Barbara Clouse Buck, Judy Erhart, Delbert Carr Theresa, Connie Whittle Bob, and Brenda Johnson Mike; siblings, Jerry Faucett, Gene McCord, and Beverly Shrock; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. & Bertha McCord Faucett; and siblings, Carroll, Danny, Jackie, Joe, Juanita and Bernadine. The family wishes to thank the doctors and the critical care nursing staff at St. John’s for their excellent care.
