Robert Eugene Day, 64, died Jan. 1, 2013 in Greenwood. He was resident of Whiteland. Robert was born Sept. 6, 1948 in Lenoir, North Carolina to Joseph and Edna (Clark) Day. He married Janet Clodfelter on Oct 22, 1971 in Acton, Indiana; they were married for 41 years.
He was employed with the Whiteland Community Schools as a Custodian. He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, fishing, golfing, music, mushroom hunting and watching movies. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include, his wife, Janet Day of Whiteland, three children, Robert E. ( Kim) Day Jr. of Camby, Michael W. (Melissa ) Day of Greenwood and Angela C. Day of Whiteland, two brothers, Jim (Linda) Day of Kentucky and William Robinson Jr. of North Carolina, three grandchildren, Sean A. Day, Isabella M. Day and Maddison N. Day. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Joseph Day Jr.
