Robert E. Waymire, 91, Phoenix, passed away July 8, 2012 at Hospice of the Valley-Phoenix, Arizona.
He was born August 11, 1920 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Phoenix, Arizona for the past 4 ½ years. Robert worked at Delco Remy approximately 8 years in the 1940’s. He farmed approximately 55 years in the Muncie/Alexandria area.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty R. Walford Waymire; children, Ronald G. Waymire Gerry of Phoenix and Brenda J. Colbert Douglas of Erie, Colorado, and Donald E. Waymire Lana of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Jeannie Evans Ralph of Anderson; ten grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, step-mother, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and daughter, Sandra L. Cook.
