McCOLPIN, Robert E. “Moe”. Formerly of Kalamazoo Moe passed away Sunday morning, March 27, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born December 22, 1919 in Kalamazoo, the son of Robert O. and Amy A. Larkins McColpin.
On August 29, 1941, Moe was united in marriage to Maxine B. Guetschow. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Moe was employed by Atlas Press Co. Clausing Industrial Inc. for 41 years until his retirement in 1981.
Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Maxine McColpin; three children, Linda Mike Csom of Kalamazoo, Robert McColpin of Eugene, OR, and Carole Dennis Shepard of Portage; seven grandchildren, Kelly Csom, Michael Sheri Csom, Lorri Brian Neel, Matthew Csom, Jodee Johnson, Corey Johnson, and Janeen Barnett; twenty great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Noteboom of Portage; and many nieces and nephews.
