Robert E. Cox – “Bob” Robert “Bob” Cox of Burlington Township passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2016 surrounded by family and loved ones. He was 72. Born in Burlington Township, he was a lifelong resident of Burlington Township. Bob was the son of the late Harry G. and Bertha (Woolston) Cox; and brother of Harry (Pete) and Charles Cox. Bob retired in 1995 from the Burlington Township Police Department after 27 years of service. Then he worked for The Burlington Township School District as an Attendance Officer for 18 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer of 52 years; daughter, Michelle; son, Bobby (Gina); granddaughters Christina, Amber and Alexis; great granddaughter Cloie Birmingham; and sister Evelyn Banff. Bob was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson year round; traveling the US; going to flat track races; and going on many different rides. He was a member of Burlington Lodge #32 F&A; Crescent Shrine Temple.
