Robert Charles Binder, SR, Reverend Deacon, October 23, 1938 to August 13, 2022
Robert Charles Binder peacefully transitioned on the morning of August 13 surrounded by love and
family. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret Dunn Binder, his son Tom and wife Terry,
his son Robert and wife Karen, his daughter Meg Serig and husband Ken, his daughter Brigid Cintron and
husband Kiko, and his seven grandchildren Merina, Delaney, Connor, Brennan, Bryn, Kathleen, and Will.
He is also survived by his brother David and wife Patti.
Bob was born in Cleveland, Ohio and attended St. Mel Catholic School, John Carroll University and
Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.

At St. John Neumann he directed the RCIA and Baptismal Preparation Programs along with his dear
friend Deacon Tom Aguilu. He was assigned by the Archbishop of Miami as the Spiritual Director of the
movement of Cursillos in Christianity and was a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre
of Jerusalem.
Deacon Bob will be remembered for his dedication to God, his family and community. His legacy lives
on through his children, grandchildren and all who knew him, learned from him, and were blessed to be
loved by him.
