CHESHIRE – Robert C. Doyon, 71, of Cheshire, departed this life on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at his residence.
Robert was born on July 13, 1940 in Acushnet, MA, son of Rita Dubois and the late Adelard Doyon. He served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He worked his entire career fundraising for non-profit organizations including the American Cancer Society, hospice, and numerous hospitals. Fundraising was not only his career, but his passion, and he found great purpose in it. He was also a lifelong Rotarian. He served as one of the famous chicken cookers during Wallingford Rotary’s Chicken BBQ.
