Robert Charles Higgins, 67, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday June 8, 2013 in Springhill Village Nursing Center in Terre Haute. Bob (RC) was born August 24, 1945, in Terre Haute to Arthur and Alice Lacy Higgins. Bob spent most of his adult years as a Paramedic for the Terre Haute Fire Department, as well as being an honorably discharged member of the United States Air Force. After his retirement, Bob was very involved with local Veteran events, taking pride serving the Veteran’s needs as a member of the Honor Guard of the American Legion Post 346. Bob was also a member of the VFW posts 972, and 6574, AMVETS Post 222, and a member of the Voiture 21 40&8 Club. Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
