Those left to honor Robert’s memory include his wife, Virginia of Newton; two sons: Mike Buckler of Utica, Illinois, and Andy Buckler of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter, Robin Buckler of Newton; two grandchildren: Hanna Young and Brandon Buckler; and many brothers and sisters.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Edna (Robey) Buckler; and two sisters.
Robert served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. worked for Mid States Ford as an Outside Parts Salesman for 24 years. He later worked for Sioux City Truck Sales (Peterbilt) as an Outside Sales Coordinator for three years.
