Muncie – Robert “Bob” Schroeder, 78, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, at I. U.
Bob was born in Decatur, Indiana on May 5, 1935, the son of Louis Henry and Susie Belle (Yates) Schroeder.
Mr. Schroeder served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He drove for MITS for over 25 years until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union.
Survivors include three children, Ty Schroeder, (wife-Christy), Cincinnati, Ohio, Roberta Schroeder, Tacoma, Washington, and Robert “Jr” Schroeder, (wife-Kandis), Gaston; two sisters, Donna Brown, (husband-Isham), Jacksboro, Tennessee, and Clara Belle Kennedy, Jacksboro, Tennessee; a brother, Richard Schroeder, (wife-Dorothy), Muncie; four grandchildren, Jackie Frame, and Trevan, Briahna, and Syler Schroeder; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of over 35 years, Wynetta Kay Schroeder; and a sister, Betty Hunter.
