Robert “Bob” K. Williamson Jr., 61, of Chaplin, CT passed away on December 8, 2021.  He was born on July 4, 1960 in North Providence, RI to the late Robert K. and Joan (Plant) Williamson, Sr.  Bob married the love of his life, Kathi A. (Bligh) Williamson on April 9, 1994. 

Together they had three children; Kalen Williamson, Joshua Williamson, and Kaci Williamson.  “Bobpa” had one grandson, the apple of his eyes, Grey Williamson; two sisters; Lori (David) Dionne, and Lisa (Andrew) Smith, multiple nieces and nephews including his god-son Drew, who made him a proud god-parent. 

Bob was a pillar in the Chaplin, CT community who proudly served in the ranks of Lt, Cpt, and most recently as Deputy Chief of the Chaplin Volunteer Fire Department.

At the age of 14, Bob earned his Eagle Scout and BSA Lifeguard.  From there he went onto lead as a Cub Master of Troop 1440 (Chaplin) proudly guiding his son Josh to earn his Eagle Scout. 

Many will remember “Coach Bob” as his legacy team; the “Inferno” was his pride and joy, coaching them from 2004-2013.  Bob was co-owner of Image Tek with his partner of 37 years, John Masson.
