Robert “Bob” George Cameron, 65

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Robert “Bob” George Cameron, 65, formerly of Kellogg, passed away January 23, 2020 in Yuma, Arizona.  He was born August 21, 1954 in Bishop, California; Bob was the son of Robert O. and Barbara Lee (Nickelby) Cameron.

Bob had lived in the Silver Valley for most of his life.  He attended and graduated from the Wallace High School in 1972.

Bob married Debbie (Hughes) Lindahl on January 21, 2001 in Kellogg.

Bob had worked for the Hecla Mining Company for twenty-eight years, he had served as a miner and later as a supervisor for the last ten years of his mining career.  Bob was also co-owner and operator, along with his wife Debbie, of Dirty Ernies of Kellogg for eighteen years.

Bob was a member of the Wallace and Kellogg Elks and a member of the Mine Rescue for numerous years.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife Debbie Cameron of Yuma, Arizona; three children Jennifer and her husband Roger Allen of Post Falls, Idaho, Bobby Cameron of Pinehurst, Idaho and Candice Cameron of Kellogg; one step-daughter Angie Dennis and her husband Kyle Swaffard of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother Tim Cameron of Washington; three sisters Gwen Hoffman of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Beth and her husband Michael May of Post Falls, Idaho and Morleen and her husband Jack Flerchinger of Clarkston, Washington; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one step-son Tim Peterson and one niece Tina Carter.
