Robert “Bob” Moran, 79 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023.
Bob was born in Clovis, New Mexico, on January 12, 1944. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1963 where he lettered in football and swimming. He served in the United States Army, proudly serving in Vietnam.
After leaving the service, Bob worked in the sign business and owned his own company before becoming a welder at Tinker Air Force Base.
Bob is survived by his three children, daughter Lorri Towell and her husband Robert of Moore, Oklahoma, and sons Robert Moran and his wife Angela of The Villages, Florida, and Tony Moran of Moore, Oklahoma; the mother of his children, Shelley Moran of Moore, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Sydney Favors of Moore, OK, Alec Towell of Mustang, OK, Josh Moran of Orlando, FL, Jacob Moran of Moore, OK, and Harper Moran, also of Moore. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Zoey and Karlee Favors of Moore.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Sue Moran, brother John Moran, son Robert Wayne Moran, and daughter Kelly Dawn Moran.
