Ray, 56, died Sunday November 22, 2009, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born March 4, 1953, in Hobbs.
Bob worked for Dresser Atlas after graduating from high school. During his work with Dresser Atlas, Bob was transferred to College Station, Texas, Pearland, Texas, and Ventura, California. The company closed and Bob moved back to Hobbs. He went to work for Pro Well Testing and was employed there until his death. In his spare time he enjoyed working on his computer.
Survivors include parents, Burl and Dorothy Ray of Hobbs; two brothers, Bill Ray and wife Carolyn of Arlington, Texas, and Richard Dick Ray of Hobbs; and several neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Douglas Charles Ray.
