Robert Benton Lock Jr. “Ben”, 75, passed away Friday June 11, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda, of 24 years and their children, daughter Shelly Boyd and Thomas Maag of New Orleans, La, daughter Christy Goggins and husband Tim of Pontotoc MS, son Eric Taylor and wife Heather of Viera, FL and daughter Kaylee Taylor and Chaun Beam of Viera, Fl. Ben is survived by 12 grandchildren,
7 great grandchildren, Uncle and Aunt Glenn and Betty Thompson, niece, nephews and many cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert Lock and Flora Gilliard and sisters, Barbara Jenkins and Debra Fair.
Ben was a graduate from Satellite High 1964 followed by serving two tours in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee and then graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University in 1978.
