Robert L. Beitler, 81, of Pendleton, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on February 11, 2013, at his residence in Pendleton, IN. He was born May 20, 1931, in Monroe, Indiana, and resided most of his life in Pendleton.
Robert graduated from Monroe High School in 1949. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1990. He was a member of the Huntsville Community Church. Robert served his country in the United States Air Force.
He owned several antique cars as well as enjoyed going to car shows. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling with his wife Julia, and socializing at The Diner in Pendleton.
Robert is survived by his loving spouse Julia Liechty Beitler, his children, Richard A. Gloria Beitler of Springfield, MO, Karen Mitchell Kuhns of Pendleton, IN, Lynda Mr.Dana Garrett of Indianapolis, IN, Amy Stults of Pendleton, IN, sister, Pat Harold Arnold of Monroe, IN, sister, Judy Mike Haney of Kendleville, IN, 7 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Beitler, mother, Margaret Beitler, and a daughter, Dana Beitler.
