BAGBY, ROBERT E. SR. Robert E. Bagby, Sr., age 77 of Birmingham, passed away Monday July 12, 2010. He was born October 17, 1932 in Birmingham, AL. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church for over 35 years. He was a lifetime member of The Masons at Farrar Lodge #8. He served his country in The United States Naval Reserve. He retired from Greyhound Bus Lines in 1987 after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Bagby. He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Katie L. Bagby; two sons Robert E. Bagby Jr. of Columbia, TN and Steven L. Bagby of Birmingham; sister, Iris B. Watson of Beatrice, AL; brother Clifton G. Bagby of Moody; aunt, Grace A. Plan of Vestavia; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
