Robert (Bob) McGraw, 93, left his earthly home and entered his Heavenly home on January 17, 2022. His parents were Robert R. and Constance Brooks McGraw. Bob graduated from North High in 1947 and received his Bachelor and Master degrees from Drake University.
He married Sharon Willcockson and they shared 67 ½ years of marriage. Their son, Greg (Karen), Naples, FL; grandson, Neon (Lisette) and great grandson Malachi, survive, in addition to step grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many special nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and sisters, Mary McGraw and Margaret Johnson.
Bob loved the Lord, accepting Christ as his personal savior, and loved working with children. He especially cherished his time as “Sparky” (Awana) and his role as the puppeteer for 29 years.
Thank you to the many nurses/CNA’s at Urbandale Health Care Center (whom he called his angels, you know who you are).
