Robert J. Arrington, 72, of McComb passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
Robert was born on December 27, 1950 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Mary (Altman) Arrington. He married Cynthia Basinger on December 27, 1971 and she survives in McComb. Also surviving is his son, Scott D. (Angela S.) Arrington ; grandchildren: Cody R. Arrington and Ashley M. Arrington and siblings: Sandra Berger, Linda Smith and Madeline Leaf. He was preceded in death by his daughter Shevell Arrington and a brother David Arrington.
Robert worked at Phillips in Ottawa for nearly 28 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Robert volunteered for McComb Fire and Ems Department. He also oversaw the Cookie Fest Parade. Robert enjoyed camping, especially at Sulfur Lake in Arlington and travelling to southern Ohio.
