Robert Aime Marrotte, 83, of Willimantic, Connecticut peacefully passed away on March 20, 2017 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida where he has lived since 1978.
Robert was born in Willimantic on November 7, 1933. After high school, he served our country in the U.S. Navy. After leaving the Navy, he worked for various construction companies. He then started a long career working with the U.S.
Robert was married to Josephine R. Eichner Marrotte on July 4, 1957; they were married for 59 years.
Robert was an incredibly friendly man and never met a person that he didn’t like. He would talk to everyone who he came in touch with, so he had many friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
Robert is survived by his wife, Josephine, and his three boys, Richard D. Marrotte, Michael A. Marrotte and Thomas L. Marrotte; his five grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, Andrew, Brandon and Nicholas; his four sisters, Evelyn, Lorraine, Joan and Beverly and the rest of his family and friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Aime Marrotte and Marie R. LaPlante and his brother Richard.
