Robert was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam and worked as an Assistant Manager for NJ Bell in Lakewood, NJ. Robert also worked in Security for JC Penney, Toms River, was a past Director of The Miss Ocean County Scholarship Pageant, the Security Director for the Miss NJ Scholarship Pageant and a Security Director for The Miss America Pageant. Surviving is his loving wife Caroline A. nee Wind, his sons William, Shawn, Robert, Brian and Chris and a daughter Theresa Castles. One brother Kevin Castles and a sister Eileen Kempf. Many loving grandchildren, friends and extended family.
