Rita Mae Connors Finnegan, age 88, of Trumbull and former longtime Norwalk resident, died at the Bridgeport Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 12. She was the wife of the late Thomas Everett Finnegan. Rita was born in Norwalk on September 4, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Helen Harvey Connors. She was a former employee of The Norwalk Municipal Employees Credit Union and Elegant Heir & Dietz. She also volunteered for many years at the Norwalk Hospital. Rita enjoyed reading, shopping, wine tasting, going to Disney World and she adored her grandchildren and her puppies.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Ragonese and her husband Thomas, three grandchildren, Kayla Anne, Andrew Thomas and Dylan Everett Ragonese, all of Trumbull, her sister Marjorie Spence of Seminole, FL, and many nieces and nephews. Rita was also predeceased by her brothers Harvey and Richard Connors, and her sister, Elinor Fancher.
