Rita G. Festa, a lifelong New Haven resident passed away peacefully November 4, 2011. A daughter of the late Silvestro and Antonetta Franco Festa, she was born in New Haven on January 12, 1925. For over 50 years, Rita worked in retail sales for Kresge & Co. until her retirement. She leaves sisters Susan and Josephine Festa, three nephews Joseph M. (Kathy) Tirollo, Anthony S. (Wendy) Tirollo, Eugene S. (Amy) Zuffelato and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters Angelina Tirollo, Mary Zuffelato, Immaculata Festa and brothers Alexander J. and Ralph F. Festa.
