Ricky L. Leeth, age 72 of 307 North Main Street, Nevada, Ohio died at 7:11 A.M., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in the emergency room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on November 23, 1946 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Robert and Becky (Miller) Leeth. He married Jennifer (May) Leeth on November 18, 1979 and she survives.
Surviving are the following children, Rick (Jeannie) Leeth Jr., Sycamore, Ohio, Randy (Kacy) Leeth, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Kyle (Kim) Leeth, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Mike Leeth, rural McCutchenville, Ohio, Dan Leeth, Sycamore, Ohio, Sonny (Mel) Ward, rural Forest, Ohio and Chad (Rachnee) Ward, rural Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving are twenty-four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters, Lois (Terry) Phillips, Tiffin, Ohio and Sandy (Louie Lane) Blair, Benton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, one brother, Joe Leeth who died May 27, 2019.
Ricky was in the masonry restoration business working for various companies and himself for over fifty years. He was a 1964 graduate of Mohawk High School, member of the Monroe-Toledo Beagle Club, member of Rogers Lake Conservation Club, former member and past governor of Upper Sandusky Moose Lodge # 1093 and currently was serving as a councilman of Nevada Town Council.
For hobbies Ricky loved to hunt, fish, cook outside on his grill and loved to watch his children and grandchildren participate in all kinds of sporting events. He also left behind his lap dog, Jasper who he dearly loved.
