Ricki Ray Kemp, 60, of Anderson, passed away on December 13, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born on October 27, 1953 in Noblesville, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson. He served his country in the Air Force during Vietnam. He is a retired Corrections Officer for Indiana Department of Corrections and also owned Raccoon Hideaway Campground in Parke County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and was a marksman.
Ricki is survived by his loving wife, Deb Helsley Kemp, step-son, Uriah Dallas Turpen, grandchildren, Hunter and Taylor Turpen, half-sisters, Joyce Lane and Sandra Beaver, special friends, Rod Lori Helsley, Wayne Penny Helsley, E. J. Beth Helsley, Larry Vonda Lucas, Doug Linda Darby, Colleen Kemp, next door neighbors, Tom and Paula and niece, Karmin Kemp.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Sherrill Kemp, father, Harvey W. Kemp, brother, Ross Kemp and half-brother, Steve Kemp.
