Rick Donald Bilbrey, 58, of Anderson, passed away on August 24, 2020 at his residence.
He was born on October 27, 1961 in Anderson, where he resided most of his life. Rick graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1981, and Lincoln Technical Institute. He was a member of East Side Church of God, and was a self-employed carpenter. Rick had always been known to have a servant’s heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He would help homeless people in their time of need, and also went to help the Hurricane Katrina victims rebuild their homes.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Allison Bilbrey; mother, Marilyn (McAshlan) Bilbrey; grandchildren, Nazareth, Sebastian; brother, Rex Bilbrey; several nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bilbrey; maternal grandparents, George and Ruth McAshlan; paternal grandparents, Thurman and Otha Bilbrey; uncle, Dale Miller; and a cousin, Jeff Campbell.
