Richard Wayne Meisler, 65, of Middletown, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 27th at Hartford Hospital. Born in Middletown, he was the son of Ruby (Robinson) DeGiovanni of Middletown and the late Bernard Meisler. Richard lived in Middletown most of his life, worked as a security guard for years and served in the US NAVY during the Vietnam War. Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Bernard Meisler, Jr. of Middletown; his two sisters, Cheryl Walker of Virginia and Kim Hartzog of Hawaii and a nephew, David Hartzog of Georgia. Richard was also predeceased by his brother, David Meisler.
