Richard Traill died Sunday, February 15, 2015 after a long time living with Alzheimer’s.
Dick’s family loved and cared for him through the 15 years. Surviving him are his wife, Carmen of 50 years; son, Dan; daughter, Janel (Charlie); granddaughter, Marnie Holcombe; sister, Pat Trail; sister-in-law, Eunice; brothers, Bob (Lois), Phil and Mike (Binnie). He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ron and Gerald (and his wife Laura). Dick was fully prepared for retirement after 17 years at Sky Harbor Airport as Director of Engineering during the building of Terminal 4. He had planned to continue riding his Honda Goldwing (perhaps to Canada and back as he had in the past) or flying a Tri pacer plane, and/or continuing as a potter. He loved music and laughter. He will be missed.
