After a long and valiant struggle, Richard T. Dalton II of Milford, Ct died on Wednesday December 10th, from injuries he sustained many years ago in an accident at Milford Hospital. Rick attended the Milford Academy and graduated from Milford High School where he was a noteworthy football player. He served in the US Navy on the ship USS Thor and attended Housatonic Community College. His loving family includes his sons, Jeffrey Dalton of Milford and Christopher Dalton of Northford; sisters Deborah (James) Beames of Westerly, Rhode Island and Pamela (James Catalanotto) Dalton of Branford; daughter in law Christine Dalton of Milford; grandson Ian Richard Dalton; former wife Kathy Bell of Woodbridge; nephews John Nichols and David Nichols of Rhode Island; niece Sarah (Jonathan) Blank of Baltimore, Md; cousins Kim Rose, Crystal Rose and Casey Rose of Milford. His extended family includes Mike Donovan, a caring and loyal childhood friend of 55 years. He was recently predeceased by his mother, Lillian J. Dalton of Branford.
