Richard Stephen Fuchs passed away at home surrounded by his family on January 10, 2011. Rich was born on February 16, 1947, in Queens, New York, the oldest child of Leonard and Roberta Fuchs.
He graduated from the University of South Carolina, and enrolled and served in the US Marine Corps after college. Rich enjoyed a long and successful business career, most recently as the Vice President of Business Development for Automatic Data Processing, Inc. Rich was known for his work ethic, his impeccable sense of style, and his passion for basketball, running, and mostly, his children and wife. Rich enjoyed small-town life in Newnan and the accepting community here, and placed a great deal of value on his many friendships.
He is survived by his wife, Debi Byars Fuchs, his children Michael, Sara, Danielle, Erin, and Emma Fuchs, his sisters Laura Fuchs and Maxine Hogan, his brother-in-law Matthew Hogan, his nieces Melanie and Courtney Hogan, and many other family members and friends.
