Richard Scott Payne, 54, of Cumming, GA lost his battle with cancer on July 14, 2013. Born in North Kansas City, MO, he is preceded in death by his father, Warren Payne. The family moved to Dunwoody when Richard was 8 years old. For thirty years Richard lived and worked in the Brookhaven area. He was a talented artist, painter, humorist, and photographer. Richard was a gentle person with a unique perspective and a love of animals.
