Richard E. Bell passed away on Sunday at the age of 73. He was born in Burlington and moved to Levittown, Penn. Where he attended Delhaas High School. In 1957 he enlisted in the United States Navy. He was stationed in Norfolk, VA for four years. He also spent two years on the USS Forrestal. He was employed at US Steel Mill in Fairless Hills for 30 years before his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Raffaela (Rae) M. Bell, two daughters: Diana Rasiul (Jake) of Levittown, Darlene Fisher (Patrick) of Bristol; four grandsons: Kyle, Justin, Michael, Brandon; a brother Thomas Bell and many nieces and nephews. Richard enjoyed his retirement years going on trips to the Jersey Shore, “flea marketing” and spending time with his family.
