Richard Randolph, 78, Anderson, passed away peacefully in his sleep April 15, 2011 at his daughter’s home, where he resided for the past 14 years.
He was born June 4, 1932 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Pat and Janie Stafford Randolph. Richard spent most of his life in Lancaster, Ohio. He worked many jobs before retiring from Rayovac in Lancaster, Ohio Richard had attended Columbus Avenue Church of Christ. He was an avid weight lifter, enjoyed guns, knives, auctions and watching western movies.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Adkins of Anderson; sons, Randy Randolph & wife of Ohio and David Randolph of Ohio; sister, Doris Bowling; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, including Marlena, BreAnn, Eric and Devon Mackie who have helped take care of him over the past couple of years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pat Randolph & mother and stepfather, Wilford & Janie Heideman; daughter, Tena Layberger; granddaughter, Joy Burris; great grandson, Matthew Mackie; daughter-in-law, Patty Randolph and brother, Pat Randolph.
