Richard R. Royce, 74, of Brick Road, South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2005, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
Richard was born on February 16, 1931, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to the late Lester and Gladys (Howell) Royce and was a lifelong area resident. On May 3, 1952, he married Gloria J. Tobolski, who survives.
Mr. Royce worked at Torrington for 31 years and then the Hoosier Spring Company for 11 years, retiring from there on March 31, 1996. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a volunteer Firefighter for German Township in the 1960s.
