Richard C. Ochse, 81, of Peru, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. Mr. Ochse was born February 13, 1929 in Peru to Gustave and Amelia (Beutler) Ochse. He married Barbara Joyce Mayszak on July 7, 1954 at St. Marys Cathedral, Peoria.
He served in the United States Marine Corps, from 1951-1954. He worked at Peru Post Office for 35 years and was also an electrician for 15 years. He is survived by his wife Joyce of Peru, 2 daughters Mary (Doug) Rutherford and Nora (David) Thornton both of Houston, TX; 2 sons Michael S. Ochse of Creve Coeur, MO and Robert (Cathy) Ochse of St. Charles, MO and 4 grandchildren, Alyshia, Abigail, Gus and Michele Ochse.
