He was employed with Hughes Aircraft for 32 years where he worked on satellite tracking systems. He was a resident of Aurora, CO since 1970. Mr. Skaufel loved sports. In high school, he played football, basketball and baseball. As an adult, he was a voracious HORSE player and loved playing a few games after dinner. He coached youth sports for the City of Aurora, and later in life become the ultimate armchair quarterback and loyal Rockies fan. He loved to tinker and repair anything that broke.
