Richard M. Ringhoffer, Sr., 90, of Salisbury Twp., died on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s. He was the husband of Mary (Cogan) Ringhoffer for 65 years. Born on November 17, 1924 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Katherine (Lukish) Ringhoffer. He served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during WW II and the Korean War. He was an estimator for Lehigh Structural Steel for 35 years before retiring. Dick was an active member of St. Ursula Catholic Church as altar server, lecturer, and the Holy Name Society. He was Co-Founder of Fountain Hill Little League in 1955. Along with spending time with his loving family, he enjoyed walking. Surviving along with his wife are sons, Robert J. Ringhoffer; Richard M. Ringhoffer Jr. and wife Nancy all of Salisbury Twp.; granddaughter, Kimberly; granddog, Sparky.
