Richard Lowe, 73, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died Sunday morning, February 6, 2005, at his home. Richard was born September 11, 1931, in Three Oaks, Michigan to Lawrence and Hazel (Campbell) Lowe.
He served as a Military Police officer in the US Army during the Korean War. On December 18, 1954, he married Janice A. Waak in Three Oaks. He was employed as a foreman at Sun Acre Fruit Farm. Richard enjoyed country living and being outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. He liked to work in his garden and raised chickens and rabbits. He also enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Lowe of Three Oaks; children, Diana (Barry) Killingbeck of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; Rebecca (Michael) Cronk of Three Oaks; David (Carol) Lowe of New Troy, Michigan; Daniel (Darlene) Lowe of New Carlisle, Indiana; and Brian (Angela) Lowe of Three Oaks; grandchildren, Dena, Erik, Dawn, Kristopher, Kortney, Aimee, Rachael, Wyatt, Joshua, Olivia, and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Zachary, Alexis and Natalie, and his sisters, Evelyn (Robert) Heward of Bridgman, Michigan and Norma Haas of Lansing, Michigan .
He was preceded in death by his parents and in 2002 by his great-grandson, Benjamin.
