Richard Lloyd Hunter

Richard Lloyd Hunter was born on September 22, 1951 in Ogden, Utah at the Dee Hospital. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in Anthropology/Geology/Photography.

He served honorably with the United States Army in the “Air Cav”, which included a tour in Vietnam. He had a railroad career from 1983 to 2013.

He married Jareta Coyle, but later divorced. He married Lynnie Robinson on 11/11/11/at 11 a.m.

Rick retired after a career with the S.P. & Union Pacific Railroad and left a life on the road behind to engage in some of his passions and enjoy his friendships and the great outdoors; where fouling and fishing brought him so much happiness. Many knew him as a bit of a “motorhead” and recognized him for his skills in restoring “scoots”, but he was much more than that. Rick was a conservationist and a preservationist with a deep understanding of the value of life and liberty and family and children. Heaven just became a richer place.

He is survived by his father, Lloyd (Terri) Hunter; sister, Teresa (Laris) Davis and brother, Douglas (Esther) Hunter. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Green and his wife, Lynnie Robinson.
