Richard Lewis, 74, Wethersfield, formerly of New Britain and Plainville, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 10, 2011. He was the husband of the late Barbara Lewis.
He was born in Poland on August 18, 1937, the son of the late Walter and Frieda Losiewski. He was raised in Poland, moving to the United States in 1955, where he started a family and became a painter by trade.
He is survived by his children, Stacy Noga and her husband, Ken, Richard Lewis, Randall Lewis and his wife, Nina, and Melissa Lerche and her husband, Jonathan; his five adored grandchildren, Seth, Ian, Scott, Shawn, and Shanun; and two great-grandchildren, William and Victoria; his sister, Maria Goodwin and a nephew, Jason.
